“Ribbons of Honor”

Fused Glass and Stainless Steel

To honor the Veterans, a graceful, elegant, and curved sculpture that reaches toward the sky ending in a 5 pointed star when viewed from above.  The 5 points are symbolic of the 5 branches of our Armed Forces: Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marines, and Navy with the Medal of Honor in the top position. 

Within each section of the stainless steel framework, fused glass panels represent each branch of the Armed Forces are installed.  The design of the glass is inspired by the campaign ribbons awarded.
